We have an important update regarding the release of Forgotlings. While we've been working tirelessly to bring you the best experience possible, we’ve decided to push the launch date further back to early Fall 2025 to ensure it meets the high standards we know you expect and deserve.

To dive deeper into what we’ve been working on and what we hope to accomplish with the extra development time, here's a special video featuring our cofounders Alfred Nguyen & Michael Godlowski-Maryniak, as well as other members of our indie dev team at Throughline Games.

We also have a very special deep-dive interview with the lovely folks at Indie Games Devel, where Alfred and Michael discuss Forgotlings & Forgotton Anne in great depth—the story, gameplay, development process, and our decision to push back the launch of Forgotlings until Fall 2025.

We understand that the extra wait can be frustrating for our fans and players, and we truly appreciate your patience and support. This extra time will allow us to polish the game, finalize some quality-of-life features that elevate the combat gameplay experience based on playtesting feedback, and make the game the very best that it can be.

With the extra months of development, we’ll be able to have the game localized in more languages so that many more players around the world can enjoy this epic adventure across the Forgotten Lands. We’ll also have the time to prepare for all the logistics surrounding a launch, including collaborations with content creators and taking the proper marketing steps with press outlets to help make the launch a success.

Last but not least, the game is huge in scope, and we want to dedicate enough time and resources to quality assurance and polish to ensure that you’ll have the best bug-free experience while playing.
